Welcome to Jandarra Alpacas

Jandarra Alpacas is a boutique award winning alpaca stud owned and operated by Robert and Helen Crewe in Pambula on the Far South Coast of New South Wales. Our farm started when we acquired  a bare 20 acres of fertile basalt soil in a location known as "Bald Hills". We are only minutes from the beach,airport and Pambula CBD, not to mention the golf course.

Since operating our stud at Pambula we have committed to using only the best proven stud males in Australia. After years of travelling and affording stud services to elite males we have created a core group of elite breeding females boasting award winning progeny at Royal and NATIONAL Show level.

Our aim is simply to increase the quality and depth of genetics in our small herd (approx 30) to provide elite quality progeny. 

Like other studs in our area we suffered during the drought / bushfire period from 2019 to 2021. Our breeding program suffered to a large extent, we believe , due to the constant smokefilled skies and we had a significant number of birthing issues during this period.

After a pause we have rejuvinated our beeding program in 2022 with new quality additions to our herd and are pursuing opportunities to access elite stud males. In the meantime we have just attended our first show in 3 years and are happy to achieve a Reserve Junior Female Championship. We now look forward to 2023 and beyond .
